Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greet customers, make reservations and seat patrons
  • Hand out menus and explain menu items and specials
  • Take customer orders, deliver prepared food to guests and clean tables
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through service

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Passionate about customer service
  • Experience working in multiple F&B operations – café, ala carte, banquet and bar

About the role

As a Housing Cleaner you will undertake all residential housekeeping duties in an efficient and friendly manner to achieve the highest level of tenant satisfaction and to ensure the property is presented in peak condition at all times.

Residential Supervisor (Pastoral Care) - Ayers Rock Resort

  • Consignment notes for correct number of goods received and correct weight of goods received.
  • Compare goods received against invoices, any discrepancies found notify the Purchasing Manager.
  • All stock that is delivered to be put away in its correct place.
  • Condition of goods received is checked upon delivery and any discrepancy in the quality or quantity to be addressed with the Retail Operations Manager
  • No stock to be left in the loading dock.
  • Assisting with counting of stock at end of month, inputting with count with the respective department head, reviewing the count with the Retail Operations Manager before stock take is booked.
  • Ensuring all documentation is correct and accurate eg. Issuing of stock, goods inwards dockets
  • Observe and advise of potential stock shortages
  • Follow up on all problems, report any issue to the Store Manager.
  • Cleanliness of stores areas – Must be kept tidy at all times.
  • Cleanliness of Loading Dock – clearing of bins – refuse and recycling on a daily basis.

  • Northern Territory Security Officer and Crowd Controller licenses or interstate equivalent
  • Full manual vehicle driver’s license
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including NT Private Security Act, Liquor Licensing Act
  • Ability to obtain and hold Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC) pass
  • Ability to assess and evaluate threats, vulnerabilities and other risks

We are currently seeking a Retail Stock Controller who will be responsible for the stock control of the ARD retail stores. As our Stock Controller, you will also support and assist the ARD management to optimise the company’s investment in retail stock movement and ordering.
 
The successful applicant will have:

  • Retail experience based in retail stock management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both external and internal customers.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise and set goals.
  • Sound understanding of stock procedures and ability to analyse reports.
  • High levels of competencies with computer systems and processes

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the stock processing procedures within the ARD warehouse.
  • Organise and schedule monthly with Retail Manager and investigate and report stock variations to Retail Manager.
  • Provide advice and service to all store managers on stock availability and distribution.
  • Provide direction for appropriate stock levels to improve retail sales and merchandising.
  • Liaise with inventory controller on replenishable lines and maintain these levels.
  • Assist the inventory controller by providing regular updates on out of stocks, PLU and price variations.
  • Assist the inventory controller in store orders.
  • Identify and action slow moving merchandise and communicate action to Retail Manager
